The Institución Educativa Departamental Externado Mixto de San Sebastián (INSEDES) is located in the municipality of San Sebastián de Buenavista, department of Magdalena. Its main headquarters are located at Calle 3 No. 8 - 36 Plaza el Suán. It is a school with a large area that has adequate spaces for students to develop their learning process comfortably. 

                           

The main headquarters of the institution has 28 classrooms, equipped with the basic implements necessary to serve a student population. Although most of the classrooms are part of the first constructions of the institution, it is worth noting the effort that the administration has been making to improve its infrastructure day by day.

Among the buildings that stand out the most in the institution is the block of classrooms built for the operation of the Punto Vive Digital, which consists of 6 classrooms divided into 2 floors. At the bottom, we find 2 computer rooms and an audio and video recording studio. In the upper part, we find 3 classrooms of the modern ones of the institution.

                               

Another important construction within the institution is the block of classrooms to which the administrative area belongs. This is one of the oldest buildings and consists of an office block and three classrooms. Historically, in one of these classrooms the institutional library, which is currently out of service, functioned for the first time. 

The institution also has a science laboratory, 2-bathroom blocks located in different areas, a student dining room, a school shop, and spacious green areas for sports and student recreation.
